In accordance with the national regulations in force (Privacy Code i.e. Legislative Decree 196/03, modified by Legislative Decree 101/2018) and with the European regulation (2016/679 “GDPR”), we inform customers that the data personal information provided by completing the online forms for the purchase of products on the Ascot Sport e-commerce site, will be processed by META S.r.l., VAT number 02092260518, with headquarters in Loc. According to the art. 12 of European regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the Data Controller (art. 4) META S.r.l. adopts this information measure to provide customers with information (art. 13) and communications in this regard (arts. 15-22).
The personal data provided for the purposes of subscribing to the Newsletter, creating an account and purchasing products sold on the Ascot Sport e-commerce site will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and related legislation, based on the principles of correctness, relevance, transparency, adequacy, protection of confidentiality and rights of processing of personal data (art. 5 GDPR).
The Customer who holds the data is required to read the aforementioned legislation and give consent to the processing of such data, an essential element for the purposes of sending information through newsletters and mailing lists, and purchasing products on the Ascot e-commerce site Sports and payment transaction management.
The processing - carried out on the basis of conditions of lawfulness relating to the purposes relating to the relationship established with the Data Controller - includes the management, organization and use of the data themselves, including the administrative activities connected to the success of the purchase and the disbursement of invoices, communication to the courier for shipping the products, storage of data in databases, soft spam and marketing activities (ex art. 130 c.4 Legislative Decree 196/03) to which it is possible to object by selecting the "I do not accept" option at the time of the automatic proposal generated by the site.
The data processing also includes the sending of promotional material relating to further products and brands of the Data Controller, provided that the interested party has granted their authorization when completing the form to request this service. In any case, the interested party can always oppose such processing by using the unsubscribe function from the newsletter, pursuant to art. 130 c.4 Legislative Decree. 196/03.
Neither data processing nor profiling - in paper or electronic form - is carried out on an automatic basis, but can only be carried out by authorized parties.
Although the provision of data is optional, in case of partiality, lack or untruthfulness of the same the purchase request may not be processed correctly or not accepted.
By filling in the necessary fields of the purchase form, the Customer will in fact authorize the Data Controller to process the data necessary for the finalization of the purchase contract (ex art. 6 paragraph 1 letter b). Such data will then be stored for administrative purposes for 10 years, or for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes of the collection.
Pursuant to art. 13 c. 2 GDPR the customer is guaranteed the following rights:
- right of access to your personal data and information connected to them;
- right to rectification, cancellation and limitation of the processing of the data provided;
- right to object to processing;
- right to data portability;
- right to revoke consent to processing at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing previously provided;
- right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
For further information, the customer can contact the Data Controller by sending an email to info@metasrl.net, specifying in the subject “exercise of rights pursuant to GDPR " and indicating the type of right you intend to exercise, your name and surname, and possibly the e-mail address from which you intend to receive the response, if this does not coincide with the one from which the request is sent. As soon as said request is processed, the Data Controller will send its response.
If the Data Controller intends to process personal data for further purposes other than those for which they were collected, before proceeding, he will provide the interested parties with the necessary information regarding the new purpose, once again requesting specific consent.
